Sustainability work

We are committed to sustainable business practices and aim to be there for our customers, employees, and partners well into the future. That is why we are now accelerating our efforts in sustainable development.

During the autumn of 2024, we went through a process where we examined every aspect of our operations, our goals, and our impact. Together with all employees at the company, we have now defined Hammarprodukter’s three focus areas:

• Reducing our negative climate and environmental impact.

• Being a reliable supplier.

• Promoting a sustainable working life.

To actively incorporate these areas in our daily operations, we have planned targets and activities for the coming years, providing a clear plan we can all work towards together. In this way, all parts of the business are involved – from day-to-day operations to larger strategic initiatives.

In 2025, we conducted our first EcoVadis assessment, the world’s largest sustainability rating. With an honorable bronze medal, we place ourselves among the top 35% of companies, while continuing to improve our work with the environment, ethics, work environment and human rights, as well as sustainable procurement.
